About the project

A cleaner reference for the language of venture.

Venture Dictionary is a consolidated grouping of common used terms in the Venture/StartUp ecosystem. The dictionary separates concepts that are often conflated, has the most commonly used terms, and provides definitions in plain English that are often presented in an ambiguous or jargon-laden fashion.

Definitions are educational and editorial, not legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. Transaction terms should always be read in the governing documents.
